Chaitanya Vikas Mutually Aided Cooperative Thrift Society initiated by Conservation of Nature through Rural Awakening (CONARE) with aim to foresee social and economic empowerment of the marginalized and deprived women in the year 2006. The society was initially started with 93 women as its members and has now strengthened with 2000 active members.
 
Since the inception of Chaitanya Vikas MACTS is supporting its own members to increase their livelihoods through promoting various produces which suits the urban context. So far, the Society provided credit supports to the members from its own funds generated through member savings and financial operations.

Society thrives on member savings, strict policies, transparent
governance, timely loans, full recovery, profit reinvestment, and self-reliant
sustainable financial management.
